Youth Council Information
All members of the Holy Covenant UMC Youth Council must attend Sunday school, worship, and Youth Fellowship (UMYF) regularly.  You are also expected to be a positive influence on your peers and lead by example in all youth gatherings and events.
 
President
Responsible for chairing all Youth Council meetings.  Works with Youth Minister to set agenda for each meeting.  Responsible for setting Youth Fellowship (UMYF) calendar with the help of the entire council.
 
Sr Vice President
Responsible for leading gathering time during Sunday school and UMYF.  Assumes duties of the President when necessary.  Must be 9th-12th grade.
 
Jr Vice President
Responsible for representing the interests of Junior High youth as youth events are planned.  Works with Youth Minister to plan Youth Week at the end of the summer to encourage the new 7th grade to get involved in youth events.  Must be 7th-8th grade.

Worship Chair
Responsible for planning worship each Sunday night.  Works with Youth Minister to plan Easter Sunrise service and other youth led services such as WOW.

Mission Chair
Responsible for youth mission opportunities.  Works with Youth Minister to plan youth mission trips and other mission programs, such as Crop Walk.  Plans mission activities during Youth Fellowship.

Outreach Chair
Responsible for youth outreach programs.  Works with Youth Minister to plan events targeted at bringing new youth to youth activities.

Grade representative
Responsible for representing their grade at Youth Council meetings.  Shares all information about youth events with their grade.

At Large Members
Appointed by the Youth Minister.  Serves as a member of Youth Council with no specific duties.
